DRAFT — REQUIRES SAUDI LEGAL/REGULATORY REVIEW
This is a draft awaiting Saudi legal and regulatory review. The text may change.
Who can review
Only a tourist who sent the guide an inquiry through the platform, and only after a waiting time set by the platform. One review per inquiry. Inquiries marked as spam cannot lead to a review.
What a review means: a review after contact through the platform. The platform evidences only that an inquiry was sent through it — not that a tour took place, and it takes no money for a tour and does not mediate the agreement between the two sides.
What is allowed
A rating from 1 to 5 stars and a text comment. Formatting and links are removed, and phone numbers and emails are masked automatically. A comment must describe a real experience and follow the content policy.
The tourist can edit their review for a limited time. An edit goes through the same checks as a new review, the previous version is kept, and when an edit needs a decision the new text is not published until it is made.
The guide’s reply and appeal
The guide can reply once to each review (and edit the reply, with earlier versions kept in the log), and appeal if they believe the review breaks this policy. A guide can never delete or hide a review.
Moderation
The platform’s team reviews appeals and reports. A review stays visible while the guide’s appeal or a report is considered. A review found to breach the policy is hidden — kept, never deleted. Every decision is recorded with its reason.
Some reviews, such as repeated texts, may be checked before they are published, as are edits that need a decision: they are not shown until it is made.
The average
The average rating is computed on the server from published reviews only. A rating cannot be bought or improved through a subscription or advertising.
