Platform role

Last updated: 22 October 2026

DRAFT — REQUIRES SAUDI LEGAL/REGULATORY REVIEW

This is a draft awaiting Saudi legal and regulatory review. The text may change.

What the platform does

It shows pages of guides whose licences it has checked, with search and filters, written inquiries, reviews from tourists who actually contacted the guide through the platform, tools for guides to manage their page and see its visits, and an automated assistant (“the platform’s smart assistant”) that answers from published data and the platform’s policies — not a member of staff, and not the Ministry of Tourism.

What the platform does not do

It does not sell or organise tours. It may give guides tools to organise their appointments and join requests; confirming an appointment is the guide’s own decision and is organisational only — it does not mean the tourist paid, nor that the platform guarantees the tour.

It receives no money from tourists, holds nobody’s money, takes no commission on tour prices, and does not handle money returned between the parties.

It does not guarantee a tour’s quality or safety, and it does not arbitrate disputes between tourists and guides.

A licence check is the platform’s review of the document and its date against the account (automatically by AI or by its team), or an inquiry with the Ministry of Tourism’s verification service when that is connected and switched on; neither guarantees a service or makes the platform government-approved.

Between the tourist and the guide

Price, time, terms and the way to pay are agreed directly between the tourist and the guide. Prices shown on pages are approximate and entered by the guide.

Advertising and featured placement

Some guides may appear in highlighted places for a fee or by editorial choice, always labelled “Sponsored” or “Featured”. A placement never changes a rating or a verification.
